Our Classic Logo, as simple as it is, represents a bold & unapologetic message.  Although the words hips and afros are referenced in our brand name, the two words are a representation of so much more. There's a statement in each word! HIPZ = THIS IS MY BODY and FROZ = THIS IS MY HAIR - Accept me as I am! Our mission is for each woman to stand proud in all of her womanly glory and to simply embrace who she is despite what the masses consider to be beautiful!

Have you ever been made to feel different or bad because of your hair? I have, as a child, and as an adult. The difference is, as a child, it hurt. As an adult when someone refers to my hair as different, ugly, or NAPPY, I don't feel hurt, I feel PROUD, I feel HAPPY! My mane is one of the things that I admire the most about myself!
